A little context on what we’re celebrating and what to expect on the night.

When is The Afterparty?
The Afterparty will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026 at Citation, Glasgow, kicking off at 3pm.

Is this the wedding ceremony?
No, the wedding ceremony itself will be an intimate family gathering in August. The Afterparty is our chance to celebrate with our favourite people in Glasgow.

What should we expect on the night?
Think dinner, drinks, speeches, music and plenty of dancing. This is less traditional wedding day and more city celebration and an excuse to bring everyone together for the big party.

Will there be speeches?
Yes, there will be a few speeches during evening.

Will there be dancing?
Absolutely! Your presence on the dancefloor is expected and Shaka Loves You be spinning disco and funk hits from the 60s to present day. Dancing shoes are strongly encouraged.
